Sauna Del Soul is committed to providing a safe, calm, and well-managed sauna experience for all participants. This page outlines the health and safety measures in place for our mobile, wood-fired sauna sessions.
All sessions are operated and supervised by the Sauna Master, and safety guidance is provided before each session.
 

 

RISK MANAGEMENT
We actively assess and manage risks associated with sauna use and outdoor wellness activities. These include:
Heat exposure
Slips and trips
Dehydration
Cold exposure (where applicable)
Manual handling
Fire safety (wood-fired stove)
Risk assessments are reviewed regularly and adapted to suit each venue and environment.
 

 

SAUNA OPERATION & SUPERVISION
All sauna sessions are supervised
Entry and exit are controlled
Maximum capacity is clearly set and adhered to
Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies and exit at any time
Clear safety briefings are given before each session
 

 

WOOD-FIRED STOVE SAFETY
The sauna is heated using a professionally installed wood-fired stove
Stove area is protected and inaccessible to guests
Only trained operators handle the stove and fuel
Fire safety equipment is kept on site at all times
 

 

SLIPS, TRIPS & GENERAL SAFETY
Non-slip flooring and mats are used where appropriate
Guests are advised to move slowly and carefully
Adequate lighting is provided during low-light sessions
Outdoor areas are checked for hazards prior to use
 

 

COLD EXPOSURE & WATER ACCESS (IF APPLICABLE)
Where cold exposure or natural water access is offered:
Participation is optional
Clear guidance is given before use
Sessions are supervised
Guests are advised not to submerge if uncomfortable

MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Guests are advised not to participate if they have:
Heart conditions
Severe respiratory conditions
Uncontrolled blood pressure
Any condition affected by heat or cold exposure
Pregnancy (unless cleared by a medical professional)
Guests participate at their own discretion and are encouraged to seek medical advice if unsure.
 

 

ALCOHOL & BEHAVIOUR
Attendance under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted
Any unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the session
Respect for other guests, staff, and the venue is required at all times
 

 

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
First aid equipment is available on site
Emergency access routes are identified at each location
In the event of an emergency, sessions will be paused or ended immediately
 

 

REVIEW & UPDATES
This Health & Safety Policy is reviewed regularly and updated as required to reflect changes in operation, venues, or guidance.
